The X: Star Wars Heroes

Part 2: Numbers 5-1

Welcome Back! Here is the link to the previous article that includes part 1 of the list of the most influential heroes in the Star Wars Galaxy. I am trying to include characters from all aspects, not just the movies. I have also included characters from Legends or Expanded Universe. You can tell from my list which era of Star Wars I grew up with…

On to the list!

Number 5: Han Solo

Han SoloQuick thoughts: Han Solo is my favorite character. He happens to be a major player in the majority of the movies, books, and comics. Without his aid, both Death Stars would be around. Without his quick wit, Star Wars would be boring.

Number 4: Obi-wan-Kenobi

Obi-Wan #4Quick thoughts: Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the characters we see cross over from one trilogy to another. He has a huge role in shaping the story and some people (Jeremy) might even say Star Wars focus on the journey of Kenobi instead of the Skywalkers.

Number 3: Rey

Rey #3Quick thoughts: Rey only has one appearance in the Star Wars saga, but man, she made an impression. She is intriguing and has a strong connection with the Force. We don’t know who she is, but we want to know more. Even with limited knowledge, we know she is going to be a major factor in the story.

Number 2: Leia Organa

Leia Organa #2
Quick thoughts:
Leia is the original hero from Star Wars. Right off the bat in A New Hope we see Leia doing what she does best. She’s an idealist who is a Princess, Senator, and General.  She is brave and courageous.

Number 1: Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker #1Quick thoughts: Luke Skywalker. Everyone wanted to be him growing up. Another idealist, but one who is incredibly strong in the force. He is the last of the Jedi but a descendant from the most powerful of them. His powers are impressive, but what is even more impressive is his heart and belief in the good of others.
